To return an item you ordered

Customers can return items they ordered on Veloflex website (www.veloflex.it) within 14 days of receipt of delivery (starting from delivery date reported by DHL).

In order to return items for incorrect purchase or unwanted item they must not bear any sign of use, they must be placed in their original packaging and with all the content that was originally included in the parcel for shipment.

Tubulars and clincher tires that have been mounted or glued on the wheel are automatically considered accepted and liked and cannot be returned.

 

About refunds of unwanted or incorrect items

  • If you want to exchange your item for a different one when the return will be received we will send you a voucher to use for a new order.
  • The refund corresponds to the money paid on original purchase receipt, including discounts if any.
  • If items received are used, damaged or defective they will not be reimbursed. If customers want to take back the return they will have to pick up the item and borne the related costs.
  • Additional shipment costs specified during payment will be borne by the customer and non-refundable.
  • Reimbursement will be provided in euro, the currency used during payment.
  • Whether refund is issued or not you will be informed by our customer service about refund time or any further information concerning your request.

 

Return method

  1. Reply to the e-mail you've received at the moment of the order; we will send you a confirmation email of your request to block the estimate period of validity of the return.
  2. If your request fulfills the terms of the return terms and conditions within 5 days you will receive a return authorization email with a return code that must be written on the parcel to return the items.
  3. Package the return carefully so as to ensure the content will not be damaged during shipment and also add a photocopy of the purchase.
  4. On the parcel write:

    Name, surname, address

    Return code (as specified in the return authorization email)

  5. You should choose a shipment that provides tracking to track the product as you will be responsible for it until it is received by Veloflex. Shipment cost, additional taxes and import fees will be borne by the customer.
  6. Within 10 business days of the receipt of delivery and after checking its conditions as aforementioned we will reimburse its cost, prior customer’s agreement, through one of the following ways:
    • Refund on Paypal account used for purchase (the cost for refund is the final price discount included if applied).
    • A voucher to use on Veloflex website of the same value of the return (The refund corresponds to the money paid on original purchase receipt, including discounts if any).

 

 


 

Products under guarantee

All Veloflex products have a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the receipt of delivery (that is the date reported by DHL).

 

Terms and conditions

  • We can assess the manufacturing defects through some pictures we are sent.
    If the photos are not enough to evaluate manufacturing defects we may ask you to return the item.
  • As some physical/mechanical tests may be necessary the product will eventually become useless. Shipment costs and additional import fees for customs must be borne by the customer.
  • Once the return is shipped for verification and the tests are carried out the customer is in charge of the return and the shipment costs in case of a further delivery back to the customer of the product.
  • Verification and physical tests of the return is free of charge, Veloflex will bear the costs for the tests necessary to assess the defective item.
  • If the customer refused to send the return and bear the shipment costs refunds will not be issued.
  • Products such as tubulars and clincher tires that are not defective but have been used, punctured, worn out, cut or damaged are not under any guarantee.
  • Warranty is not applied in case of incorrect installation of the product, scarce upkeep, incorrect use, carelessness, alteration of the product, or improper fixing.
  • Tubulars with trace of any repairing liquid or foam will not be reimbursed as these prevent any verification/test.
  • If the inner tube of the tubular loses air customers must send it to Veloflex to check there is no tire puncture (in this case reimbursement will not be possible).
  • Product warranty requires the original receipt.
  • If the item is not purchased directly on our website www.veloflex.it please contact your retailer; for refunds it is necessary to provide the order number available only on our website.

 

Return method

Please add all the information requested and attach high quality pictures of the defective part of the item to check the defect/problem. We will send you a confirmation email of your request to block the estimate period of validity of the return.
  2. If pictures and information sent by RMA form are not enough for the refund an authorization email will be sent within 5 business days with the return code that you must write on the package of the item to return it for the verification.
  3. Package the return carefully so as to ensure the content will not be damaged during shipment and also add a photocopy of the purchase document.
  4. On the parcel write your:

    Name, surname, address

    Return code (as specified in the return authorization email)

Further information about refunds of products under guarantee

  • If warranty is not valid (because of a defect, maintenance, use, puncture or incorrect installation of the product, etc.) the item will not be refundable.
  • Packages without the return code and customer’s details as well as the warranty form and the original receipt will be sent back or destroyed.
  • Shipment costs added during payment will be charged to the customer for the return.
  • Refunds are issued with the same currency used during payment (Euro).
  • Whether refund is issued or not you will be informed by our customer service about refund time or any further information concerning your request.
